I will travel to Japan next month (Feb 2015) from Hong Kong, could you pls tell me how to go Okayama station? Which airport in Japan is the closest that I can go to Okayama station conveniently? or if I can go this station from Tokyo? or from Osaka?

Hello there,
You will most likely arrive at Kansai Airport if you are on an international flight. From there take the Haruka Express to Shin-Osaka, from there the Shinkansen can be used to Okayama station.
Alternatively you could use the Shinkansen directly from Tokyo to Okayama station.

I've checked the JR time schedule from Kansai Airport to Okayama station, there are "reserved seat" and "non-reserved seat", could you pls tell me any difference between them?
Possible I need to STAND all the time if I took "Non-reserved seat"??.
