Aloha,

I hope all is well! I was wondering if you can please assist me with determining whether or not it would be beneficial for me to get a JR Pass? If so, can you please help me with deciding which option would be most beneficial? Below is my tentative travel itinerary. It’s my first time to Japan and I’m very excited, but also a bit nervous with getting around Japan!
11/30/2023: Arrive at Kansai Airport and will be staying in Osaka Umeda area.
12/01/2023-12/04/2023: Roam around Osaka, visit Kyoto & Nara.
12/05/2023 - 12/07/2023: Commute to Kawaguchiko where we will be staying there for two nights.
12/07/2023: Leave Kawaguchiko to go to Shinjuku.
12/08/2023-12/13/2023: Roam around Tokyo and near by areas.
Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Hi there,

For this trip, I do not think that a JR Pass would help you make savings.

As such, I suggest buying normal tickets.

Kind regards,
Daniel
