Train Transfer Times

Hi there,

I'll be travelling from Kyoto to Haneda Airport, which involves taking a bullet train to Shinagawa and changing to another train from Shinagawa to Haneda airport terminal. There is 15mins between the 2 train schedules, would that be enough to make the transfer. I'm travelling with big luggage. Normally how much time should I plan to have for transfer from 1 train to another?

Thanks much!

Hi there,

Are you taking the Keikyu to Haneda or a different train?

In any case, trains are very frequent and usually depart every few minutes. Even if you miss the 15min window, there will be a next train in 10min or less. So not something to worry about, just make sure you leave early enough.

Typically, a 15min transfer is a lot of time and even with luggage should be fine. Just focus on following signs posted and you can't miss it.

Kind regards,
Daniel
