What pass to purchase

Hi,

I am traveling to Tokyo this June and is not sure which pass to purchase.

16 June - hanada airport to Tokyo (sight seeing in Tokyo)
17 June - alpine route using the Hakuriku Shinkansen (day trip depart and return Tokyo same day)
18 June - around Tokyo and out to Nihon Mikaen open air museum
19 June - around Tokyo and depart for Narita airport in the evening.

Please also advise what is the additional cost to go from Joetsu station to Toyama ststiom. Coz I think the JEP does not cover to Toyama on the fare.

Hello Min,

I guess you'll be traveling to Toyama station for the Alpine route. A return ticket Toyama - Tokyo is 25,460yen. The add in travel to and from Narita Airport, local JR travel in Tokyo and to Mizonokuchi station (for the Nihon minka-en) and you'll be able to make good savings with it.

The JEP does not cover the route to Toyama, so I would advise buying a (nation wide) 7 day JR Pass instead.
