We will be traveling from:

Iwakuni to Hiroshima Hiroshima to Nagoya
Nagoya to Hiroshima
Hiroshima to Iwakuni
Iwakuni to Miyajima
Miyaima to Hiroshima
Hiroshima to Okayama
Okayama to Osaka
Osaka to Kyoto
Kyoto to Kanazawa
Kanazawa to Matsumoto
Matsumoto to Tokyo

We will begin travel on Saturday, April 5, and finish with our arrival in Tokyo on Wednesday, April 16. We are a group of 3 adults traveling together, my husband and myself, plus our adult son.

Would you please suggest the best pass or passes for us to use?

Hello there,

It will depend on your timing and how many days you spend in each city. A 7-day JR Pass would be good if you can cover the majority of your long distance with the pass (Especially Hiroshima - Nagoya and back to Hiroshima), then anything extra would be a big plus.

If you want the extra flexibility, then a 14-day pass is great but financially it would not help you make savings over normal tickets.

Kind regards,
Daniel
