Hi there!

First of all: Happy New year :D

I will visit Japan in February and have some questions about using JR Pass.
I want to point out that I will only use the JR pass, if are possible without additional costs. I am confused about using shinkansen (bullet train), subway and train stations. Follows my script guide about trip:

  1. Narita (Japan International airport) to Tokyo
  2. Tokyo (4 nights) to Kawaguchiko (Mt. Fuji).
  3. Kawaguchiko - Fuji San (2 nights) to Kyoto.
  4. Kyoto (3 nights) to Osaka.
  5. Osaka (3 nights) to Tokyo.
  6. Tokyo (2 nights) ro Narita.

It's possible to go all the way at with no extra cost? What are the best lines to all those places?

Thank you

Hi there,

Happy New Year :)

You will likely need additional transport to/from Kawaguchiko but all other transport I see should be covered.
I recommend reading this post for details on Kawaguchiko.

Kind regards,
Daniel
