Hello, we will start our 14-day stay with 4 days in Tokyo before traveling west to Kyoto, Hiroshima, Miyajima and Nara. I think it might be less expensive for us to purchase a combination of single train passes or regional passes. Please let me know your recommendation for the following itinerary.

Kyoto 2 days
Hiroshima 1 day
Miyajima 1 day
Nara 1 day
Hakone 2 days
Ome 2 days
Tokyo 1 day

Hi there,
For your itinerary it is likely to be more cost-effective to purchase your tickets individually. However, the JR Pass will cover most of your itinerary and so it is still an option worth looking into if you feel that a pass is better suited for you.
