Hi there,

Recommending Hotels is actually quite hard, we all have our budget, wishes, and other things that need accommodating. If you do plan on staying in Osaka, look for hotels around the Umeda area. This is northern centre of Osaka and Osaka station is here as well. Getting on the train from there to anywhere is easy.

An other very good area to stay in Osaka is around Namba/Shinsaibashi. This is a very lively area with many many small shops and places to eat. Its also very crowded but that is part of the experience.

While in Osaka, I also recommend visiting Shinsekai and the Osaka Aquarium.
