Reserve seating during peak

Hi there,

Unfortunately no - you’ll need to physically pick up and activate the pass before you can begin making reservations. If you are arriving in Japan before you plan on activating the pass, you can activate the pass as soon as you land and set an activation date for whenever you plan on using it, and begin making reservations from there.

No other pass other than the JR Pass will cover Hiroshima - Nagoya - Nagano, so if you deem it not to be worth it then I’d suggest purchasing your tickets individually.
