when I get my japan rail pass,is it valid for aizu railway line?or do i have to pay extra because it's not part of the JR group?

And from the mobile app,is it only showing JR routes?

Also where can i get JR bus routes and schedules?

Thank you!

Hi there,

The Aizu railway is not part of JR and you'll have to buy a normal tickets.

What Mobile app do you mean? Hyperdia has a decent mobile app, Japan Navi also as a mobile app with search for the Japan Rail Pass.

Bus routes are operated by each JR company. You can find information regarding them on each companies own website. For instance on the JR East or JR West website. Unfortunately there is not one place to find them all.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
