Hi, I will arrive at Tokyo Haneda airport at 5 am and then st ay 11 days in Japan, travelling throughout Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, and then returning to Tokyo from Narita airport.
I am seeking information on:
- best choice between the 7 or14 days pass?
- ability to activate the pass from Haneda airport as early as 5 am?

It will depend on how many days you travel and stay in each city. Both the JR Pass for 7 days and 14 days will help you make savings on this route. I would pick the 7-day JR Pass if you are back in Tokyo before it expired and would get the 14 day JR Pass if you want to be more flexible.
The JR office at Haneda opens at 6:45.
