Hi Daniel San
2 Questions ,firstly how do I find schedule and timetable online also, whats the duration of this ride from Osaka to Hiroshima
lastly if after reserving a seat on a particular day and time, what are the penalties if for some reason I missed the train as I understand the train stations has many platforms, entrances and exits.
Please pardon my noob questions as first time to Japan and using JR pass.
Many Thanks in advance
Hi there,
For travel times, I recommend learning to plan with Hyperdia this way you can find any route/timetable and more. It's a great tool for planning with the JR Pass. We also have a useful interactive map with all JR lines included.
No, there are no penalty fares. You can always take the non-reserved seat on the next train if for some reason you miss the train you wanted to get on.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
