Hello - we want to know if it makes economic sense for us to purchase 14 day all country passes for us. Here is our itinerary.
Day 1-8: Land in Tokyo and use JR trains for daily trips
Day 8: Tokyo >> Kyoto >> Nara
Day 10: Nara >> Kyoto
Day 12: Kyoto >> Osaka
Day 14: Depart Osaka airport

thank you!

Hi there,

For your itinerary it is likely to be more cost-effective to purchase your tickets individually. However, the JR Pass will cover all of your itinerary and so it is still an option worth looking into if you feel that a pass is better suited for you. Alternatively, a Hokuriku Arch Pass will likely be your most cost effective option for the second-half of your trip, if you are willing to travel to Kyoto/Osaka via the Hokuriku Arch (Shinkansen + JR trains as opposed to a direct Shinkansen route).

Hope this helps!
