Do you know where I'm able to get free city maps in advance of my trip? I found some online, but having them printed isn't the same as the full copy you can get at the airport or the respective cities. We'll need the maps for the following cities if possible:

We have a nice collection of train maps for JR at www.jrpass.com/maps
Generally getting a printed map once you arrive in any city is easy, at the station, go to the tourist information and ask for a map. They'll be more than happy to provide you with one.
Due to copyright laws I'm not sure to what extent I can link them but try doing a Google image search with Cityname + map or cityname + tourist map, this should give you good results for any of these.
