Hello, our itinerary will be:

day1 - Tokyo
day2 - Mt. Fuji (tour)/ Nikko
day3 - Kamakura/ Tokyo
day4 to 9 - Kansai (Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Koya, Kobe)

We'll take a domestic flight from Tokyo to Osaka. Should we get regional passes or the JR Pass? If regional passes, i know about the Kansai Area Pass, what pass do we get for the frst 3 days?

Thank you

Hi there,

For travel around Tokyo, you could look at the Tokyo Wide pass - this offers good value going to Nikko and may cover travel to Fuji as well.

THe Kansai Area Pass would indeed be a good option for all the cities you plan to visit there.

Kind regards,
Daniel
