Hello, my family and I are planning to visit Japan. We are spending 13 days in Japan, and I want to check if the JRPass is the best option. Our itinerary is the following:

Day 1: Arrive at Narita Airport, and we would like to go to Osaka
Day 2-3: Spend time in Osaka
Day 4: Travel from Osaka to Hiroshima, spend the day there and later come back to Osaka
Day 5: Travel from Osaka to Kyoto´
Day 6: All day in Kyoto
Day 7: Travel from Kyoto to Tokyo
Day 8-12: In Tokyo
Day 13: Back to Narita Airport

We will travel mainly in the evenings. Please tell us if the JRPass is the right option, and if not, what we should do.

Thank you.

Hi there,

I'm happy to help!

Based on your itinerary, a 7-day Nationwide JR Pass is likely the most cost-effective and convenient option and will save your family a considerable amount of money. Your long-distance journeys are significant, and the JR Pass will cover all of them.

I hope this helps!

Kind Regards,

Mariko
