Going to Kyoto for a month in September with two nights in Hiroshima (Sept 14-16) with a toddler in tow.

I intend to slow down to a pace that a toddler can keep up with.

My loose itinerary is as follows

9/5 Arrival to KIX
9/6-9 Explore Kyoto
9/10-13 Explore surrounding cities Osaka/Kobe
9/14-16 Hiroshima
9/17-10/1 (no plans)
10/2 Depart for home.

I’m thinking about getting the Kansai-Hiroshima 5-day pass to have it start on the 12th, ending on the 16th.

As for arrival at KIX, travel to Kyoto I thought about just getting the ICOCA + Haruka combo then get the discounted Haruka for the return back to KIX.

Are there any pass combos I should consider?

Thank you!
