Good Day Daniel-san,

I am planning to travel from Tokyo (fly in from Narita Airport) to Nagano, then Nagano to Kyoto.

For the trip from Nagano to Kyoto, I intend to travel by train i.e. shinkasen with tickets reservations purchased in advance online via JR west website.

Understand from the link (https://www.jr-odekake.net/eki/global/en/howto/train-reservation/receive/station) that we could collect my train ticket from Tokyo/Shinjuku - JR East Travel Service Centers. - Could you confirm my understanding on this, pls?

Otherwise, based on my itinerary (Tokyo-Nagano-Kyoto), where would you advise me to collect my reservation tickets?

Appreciate your kind guidance. Thank you.

Regards
Steve

Hi Steve,

Assuming they are normal rail tickets (not Rail Passes), then yes, you would be able to pick them up at any ticket machine or desk that handles these.

Kind regards,
Daniel
