Hi there. I would like to ask.
I'm planning to go to kyoto from hakata and spend a day there and than proceed to tokyo on the same day.. I need help in finding the most suitable route there.

Hakata-kyoto(day trip)-tokyo

Or shld i stay for a night in kyoto?

Really appreciate your help. Thanks!

Hi there,

There's basically only one route, namely the Shinkansen. I've pinned the destinations to a map HERE for ypu so you can get an idea of the route involved, the blue line is the Shinkansen.

It's quite a bit of travel time, going from Hakata to Tokyo, so it may better to stay in night in Kyoto if you would like some time to explore the city.

Hope this helps!
Daniel
