Hello again.
We are booked to stay at Highland Resort Hotel and Spa in Fujiyoshida and were coming from Osaka.
Can you please advise us on how to get there. We have tried to email the hotel but still waiting for reply.
The website’s direction is only via highway bus. Can we go by train?

Hi Gemma,
You could go by rail but it is going to be a long and somewhat complicated trip and the last part would not be covered by the JR Pass.
You'd take the Shinkansen from Osaka - Shin-Yokohama. From there a local train to Otsuki station, then the Fujikyu line to Fujikyu-Highland station. The last from Otsuki station is not covered by the JR Pass and requires a 1.200yen fare.
