Hello, I'm traveling as a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children - ages 2 and 5). I am trying to figure out if it's worth getting a JR pass. Our 8-9 days itinerary is as follows:
Osaka > Kyoto
Kyoto > Tokyo
Tokyo > Tokyo Bay

Hi there,
Purchasing your tickets individually would be a more cost-effective option for you, as the combined cost of your tickets wouldn’t amount to the cost of a JR Pass despite the fact that you’ll be using Shinkansen.
