I am intending to travel from Kyoto to Hakodate and rather than do that in one day, does anybody have a good suggestion for somewhere to visit halfway in between?

Thanks.

Hi there,

You could make a stop somewhere in Tohoku. Sendai, Hachinohe and Hirosaki come to mind.

They are all nice stops for a day.
