Dear Danial san
Thank you very much for all your help. Indeed your suggestions are wonderful. I still have a few questions. We wish to visit the important tourist places in Kyoto. Can we see most of the places in one day? What will be the mode of transport? Do we need a taxi to go around or is there a sight seeing bus that takes us around all the tourist places? We have only 2 days for Kyoto and Nara. Will that be sufficient. What are the places you suggest us to visit in this short period in Kyoto and Nara. Your advice will be a great help to us.
Regards and best wishes

Hi there,

It all depends what you want to see in Kyoto, generally I would at least advice 2-3 days to cover the main sights and have enough time to enjoy them. Using a taxi can definitely help you cut down on travel time between them. Nara can be seen in half a day, though a full day is better.

Highlights in Kyoto I would see are: Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizudera, Kingakuki (golden Pavilion), Arashiyama, Nishiki-Market, Shijou and Gion.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
