Just curious on tips for pass type, and also general thoughts on my plan.

Tokyo 3 nights (day trip to mt Fuji), Travel to Kyoto and stay 3 nights (day trip to Nara), Travel to Osaka for 3 nights (day trip to Kobe), Travel to Hiroshima for 3 nights (day trip to Miyajima), Travel to Hakone for 1 night, Travel back to Tokyo for 3 nights.

Let me know what you think..

Thank you!!

Hi there,

This seems like a great itinerary. A 14-day JR Pass is an option worth considering, but it's likely that it'll be more cost effective to purchase your tickets individually, also given that you're travelling to Hakone which doesn't have direct transport links covered by the JR Pass.

Kind regards,

Alexis
