Hi, I will be flying into Narita then taking plane to KIX. From there I hope to use train to Dotonburi area where I will stay. From Osaka I will travel to Kyoto for one night then back to KIX airport area before flying to Tokyo. I will be staying in Shibuya Tokyo for remainder of trip but hope to go towards Mt. Fuji area for day trip. We will be traveling as a family 3 adults and 1 child. Each of us may have 1 large luggage and back pack. What would be the best methods of traveling on train with luggage and do you think we need JR Pass or Suica card.

Hi there,
The only long distance trip by train would be Osaka - Tokyo, for that you do not need a JR Pass. That will be no problem with luggage, if each as 1 large piece + backpack. You can just bring it on board and put it in one of the luggage areas.
Then in Tokyo just bring only what you need for the day trips!
Enjoy :)
