Meet and greet service

If I book the 'meet and greet' service, will I benefit from help and guidance in several stations along my trip, or just at point of arrival in Japan? Can I benefit multiple times or just one time?

Hi Ariana,

Thank you for your question about JR Pass Meet & Greet.

With this service, we meet you upon arrivals at your selected airport. We can also help you make seat reservations, for the entire trip if you wish and give you advice and tips for the whole route.

It is a one time service but you can still contact us after if you have any questions during your travels.

Hi Daniel,
Thank you for your response.
Does the 'meet and greet' service also include advice and help with purchase of local transportation cards, i.e. Suica, Pasmo, Manaca, other? I am interested in a card that potentially offers access to all local transportation networks in major cities.

Hi Ariana,

Yes, we'll be more than happy to set you up with a Suica card. This can be done at the same time when exchanging the JR Pass and only takes a few steps.

As the Suica card has to be paid in cash, it is recommended to have at least 2.000yen on hand.
