We will be travelling in Japan from March 6 fo 16th. We need advice what is better Japan rail pass or normal tickets as you go for such an itenerary for 5 adults:
Mar 6 From Narrita Airport to Tokyo city
March 8 Tokyo - Hakone - Tokyo
March 11 Tokyo - Kyoto
March 13 Kyoto - Koyasan
March 14 Koyasan - Osaka - Tokyo
March 16 Tokyo - Narrita

I recommend using the 7 day JR Pass for travel to Kyoto, Osaka, Tokyo and back to Narita Airport.
