We arrive Narita 3 pm on August 17. Do any passes include the trip from Narita to Tokyo Central Station?

We intend to go to Kyoto late afternoon on August 19 by train arriving by 6:30 pm

We intend to go from Kyoto to Port Uno on August 21 arriving Port Uno by 9 pm

We intend to go as early as possible from Port Uno to Hiroshima on the morning of August 23 and we intend to leave Hiroshima to go to Tokyo as late as possible on August 23

We intend to go from Tokyo Central Station to Narita early morning on August 24

Can you tell me whether a Rail Pass is best? Also, is this schedule possible? Can you suggest which trains we should take?

Thank you so much.

Hi there,

Yes, a 7-day JR Pass would work great here. It covers train travel between all the cities you want to visit and help you make good savings at the same time. You'd only have to buy a one way back to Narita airport, as this is outside of your 7-day pass period.

For travel times, I recommend learning to plan with Hyperdia this way you can find any route/timetable and more. It's a great tool for planning with the JR Pass. We also have a useful interactive map with all JR lines included.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
