I will be visiting Japan for approximately 28 days and plan to travel from Tokyo to Fukuoka and back to Tokyo. A 21 day JR Rail Pass will not work very well for me as I expect to use the JR system extensively and there is no 7 day period in which I will not be in need of the JR Rail system. Is it possible for me to buy a 21 day and a 7 day JR Rail Pass?

Hi there,
Yes there is absolutely no limit to the amount of JR-Passes you can buy. Just be sure to exchange them within 90 days after purchase. We also have a blog post about it. If you plan to do a lot of travel with that 1-week pass consider buying a Green Class upgrade to make the most of it.
Have a good trip!
