We will be traveling to Japan in April and noticed there are some new rules for oversized baggage on the Shinkansen. I see that we now need to book specific seats (the last row) to store oversized baggage. However, strollers are exempt from this requirement. Is there still a location where we can store the strollers on the Shinkansen? I recall that towards the end of each train car there would be a storage area in the past (not behind the seat), but I wasn't sure if this is still the case. Please advise.

Hi there,
It depends on the train, as there are many different trains in Japan. Where available, you can make use of such area's.
