Hello there,

I will be traveling to Japan in November and was wondering on the best option for traveling to Tokyo - Hakone - Kyoto - Osaka. Kindly advise if it is sufficient to just utilize the Suica card for when traveling around Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka then using the Fuji-Hakone Pass when in Hakone.

Day One to Six - Tokyo (including one day trip to Mt Takao)
Day Six to Eight - Hakone
Day Eight to Twelve - Kyoto
Day Twelve to Sixteen - Osaka

Thank you in advance.

Hi Jaz,

Unless you return to Tokyo after Osaka, I would advice to buy normal tickets for this trip, as they'll cost less than a JR Pass.

The Hakone pass makes sense when you plan on exploring Hakone. Especially if you do the full circle.

Kind regards,
Daniel
