Hi,
We're 4 adults and 1 child ( 5 years) landing in Tokyo Narita on the 15th of March.
Tokyo 4 nights ( Hilton Shinjuku)
Kyoto 3 nights ( central station area)
We're planning a day trip to Nara and depart from Osaka airport on the 22nd of March at 730 am.
We're planning to use it generally and also for travel from airport to hotels.
Is it recommended with luggage and children?
Is there window too short to purchase the voucher?
Could we have it delivered at the hotel in Japan?
Do trains operate 24 hours? Will need a 3 am departure from Kyoto for Osaka. Sorry for the multiple questions.
Do let me know please.

Many thanks

Hi there,

Looks like an easy trip to me, with not too much travel along the way. With only 1 way Tokyo - Kyoto, a JR Pass would not help you save money though, so buying normal tickets would work best.

Trains generally operate from 6am to midnight.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
