I'll be spending a few days in Tokyo, using the metro. I've seen online that it's probably worth getting a Pasmo or Suica card but I'm not sure what the diferrence is? Can anyone help?

The difference is;
Pasmo is issued at a Subway Station while Suica is issued at the JR Station.
They are the same I would say as either cards enable you to use the JR or Subway, including several buses and the monorails.
