Tokyo to Kyoto to Osaka Travel--Which pass to get--JR Pass or the Regional Pass

My sister and I will be in Japan from April 07-19 2024.
Arrive at Tokyo Airport NRT on April 08 2024 at 4:25 PM. Depart on April 19 2024 at 6:30 PM, Terminal 1, Tokyo Airport NRT

Tokyo (April 08-12, 13 2024)
We want to go to Mount Fuji will in Tokyo, plus other spots.

Kyoto (April 12 or 13 to April 15 2024)
We want to go to Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Nara, plus other places

Osaka (April 16-18 2024)
We want to go to Dotengori district and Shinshingari

April 19 2024 (fly back to Canada from Osaka or Tokyo)

What pass will work best?

A JR Pass would suit you, purchasing a 7-day pass and setting its activation date for the 12th/13th for your journey to Kyoto from Tokyo. It can be purchased here.

How much will it cost to get to from The Tokyo Airport (NRT) to a hotel close to Tokyo station (a) by cab, and (b) train.

Are there days passes available to use the train, as the pass will be activated on April 12 or 13 2024? We will be in Tokyo on April 09 2024 so we need something in the mean time.
How much do the day passes cost?

How do we activate the card?

Can the card be puchased at the Toky airport?
Is is more expensive that way?
