Hello there,

I will be traveling in Japan from October 16-19, 2014. I am wondering which pass, or combination of passes, would be worth getting for my stay.

Here is my plan as of now:

Day 1: Arrive in Narita Airport and spend the rest of the day in Tokyo

Day 2: visit Meiji Shrine,Tokyo Tower, Imperial East Garden, and shopping

Day 3: Tokyo Disneyland or Disneysea

Day 4: Daparture from Narita, Fly back home.

What is the cheapest fare just around tokyo area. I think 7 day pass via JRPass is not suitable for my tour

Thank you for your advice. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi there,

Basically I would just stick to buying normal tickets. You could get a Suica card to make life more easy.

There are also a couple of day passes in Tokyo, wich you could consider. Such as the one day metro pass or JR Tokunai Kippu. Both allow for unlimited transport but are limited to either the metro or rail, so it may only give you confusing restrictions.

Of course! There's a lot to see and do in Tokyo, so could you tell me what your interests are?

At the very least I would recommend a visit to Tokyo Tower and the Imperial Palace Gardens.

Well in that case, visit Asakusa and local temple. Akihabara Electric town, Shibuya to see the famous crossing and Japanese fasion and Harajuku to experience youth culture and visit the Meji shrine.

Hi there,

Sorry I am not very familiar with bus numbers. However I don't think there is a bus number to Tokyo. Just an express bus with a sign Narita Airport -> Tokyo.
