We will be traveling to Japan next year. I use a walker. We will be traveling from Tokyo to Kyoto and return. We also hope to use the Narita Express from Tokyo station. What seats should we book & where to put the walker? I also cannot climb stairs. Thank you

Hi there,

Each major station in Japan is equipped with accessibility features, such as elevators, and you should have no problem in this regard when traveling from Narita Airport to Tokyo station and Kyoto.

The Narita Express and Shinkansen have special luggage compartments at the start of each train wagon, and I think this would be the best spot to store your walker. You can also make luggage reservations at the station if you need to use an oversized luggage compartment.

Hope this helps :)
Daniel
