Hello and thanks in advance for your reply. Here is my itinerary for a 14-day trip to Japan. Arrival at NA on the 21 Apr; Tokyo 21-25; Hiroshima 26-27; Kyoto 27- 2 May; Hakone 2-3 May; back home on the 3 May through Haneda. Should I get a JR Pass? 7 or 14-day? Would it be easier and with less stressful days getting individual tickets along the way with the pass?

Hi there,

For your itinerary it is likely to be more cost-effective to purchase your tickets individually. However, the JR Pass will cover all of your itinerary and so it is still an option worth looking into if you feel that a pass is better suited for you. Using a Pass may be a less stressful option, but you'll still have to purchase individual tickets to Hakone as travel is not directly covered by any JR-operated transport links.

Hope this helps!

Alexis
