Can I ask your thoughts about our travel plans :We will be traveling for 10 days - family of 6 (5 Aduts and 1 kid). Here are our tentatite itinirary:
Tokyo (Haneda) - Nagoya -Kyoto -Osaka (Departing at KIX)
We are planning to visit the following attractions

Tokyo National Museum
Senso-ji Temple
Shibuya sky observatory
Mt Fuji
Lake Kawaguchiko
Nara Park
Todai-ji Temple
Osaka Castle
Umeda Sky Building
Tsutenkaku Tower
Universal Studios
Hiroshima and Miyajima Island
- Is purchasing a JR pass a cost effective way of transportation use?
- Will a JR pass supice and cover the transportation locally to visit tourist attractions within each city, or do we need to supplement with other card?
- If we will purchase a 7 day JR pass, should we activated it right away or on later days?
- I am afraid that if we ask to ship the JR pass, it may not arrive on time, Can we just pick it up at Haneda Airport or deliver it in our Hotel?
- Is getting a pocket wifi a "must"?
