We're two people visiting Japan for a total of 14 days.
According to the planned schedule we've purchased a 14 days JR pass; we'd like to ask if you could confirm our schedule wich will be:

1) February 11th arrival to Fukuoka

2) February 12th JR pass activation. 1 Day trip to Nagasaki:
Fukuoka - Nagasaki: JR Limited Express Kamome 7 Nagasaki - Fukuoka: JR Limited Express Kamome 2

3) February 13th. 1 Day trip to Kagoshimai:
Fukuoka – Kagoshima-Chuo: JR Shinkansen Tsubame or Sakura Kagoshima-Chuo - Fukuoka: JR Shinkansen Tsubame or Sakura

4) February 14th. Fukuoka to Okayama
Fukuoka - Okayama: JR Shinkansen Kodama or Sakura

5) February 15th. 1 Day trip to Takahashi
Okayama - Takahashi: limited exp yakumo or JR Hakubi Takahashi – Okayama: limited exp yakumo or JR Hakubi

6) February 17th. Okayama to Kotohira (Shikoku)
Okayama - Kotohira: JR Limited express Nanpu 5

7) February 18th. 1 Day trip to Matsuyama
Kotohira- Tadotsu: JR Dosan Tadotsu- Matsuyama: JR ltd. Exp, Shiokaze 13 Matsuyama – Tadotsu: Ltd Express Ishizuchi 14 Tadotsu – Kotohira: JR Dosan

8) February 19th. 1 Day trip to Kochi
Kotohira - Kochi: JR Limited express Nanpu 5 Kochi – Kotohira: JR Limited express Nanpu 22

9) February 20th. Kotohira to Himeji
Kotohira - Okayama: JR Limited express Nanpu 22 Okayama – Himeji: Shinkansen Kodama or Hikari or Sakura

10) February 21th. Himeji to Tokyo
Himeji - Tokyo: Shinkansen Hikari

11) February 23th. 1 Day trip to Nikko
Tokyo – Utsunomiya: Shinkansen Yamabiko Or Tsubasa Utsunomiya – Nikko: JR Nikko Tobu-Nikko – Ikebukuro (Tokyo): JR Limited Express Nikko 8.

12) February 25th. 1 Day trip to Fuji San
Shinjuku - Kawaguchiko: JR Limited Express Fuji Excursion

Q: You think this schedule will work? We look forward to your opinion. Also is there any of those trains not covered by JR Pass?

Hi there,

Good news! All of your destinations can be reached with a JRPass!

As a general rule, if the trains are operated by the JR Group, they will most likely be covered by the JRPass. The main exception to this is the Nozomi and Mizuho Shinkansen, but you haven't planned on taking those lines so its not something you need to worry about.
