I will be travelling to Japan on Dec 18-22. I want to visit Universal Studios and Kyoto. If ever I will buy the JR pass can I visit Universal City for 1 day from Tokyo then back then go to Kyoto the next day and back? I have accomodation in Shinagawa station. I know it is tiring and troublesome. 😊 Or just stay for a night in Kyoto or Osaka? Thank you in advance. 😊 Any places that I must visit in those areas?
Hi there,
Do you want to visit Tokyo as sort of a 1 night visit? This is certainly possible, it is about 3 hours from Tokyo - Kyoto for one way. There should be at least enough time to get an impression of the city.
A JR Pass would be very useful here too.
