I plan to visit Japan from 18 Aug - 1 Sep 2018.
The following is my itinerary:
18/8: Arriving in Haneda Airport
18-21/8: Haneda Airport-Hokkaido-Hachioji
21-24/8: Hachioji or Tokyo area
25-26/8: Hachioji - Kyoto - Hachioji
27-30 /8: Hachioji or Tokyo area
1/9: Hachioji - Haneda Airport
Does 7-day pass or 14-day pass is suit to me for my plan?
Besides, do you have any recommended place for me between Tokyo and Hokkaido?

With travel to both Hokkaido and Kyoto, I would recommend using a 14 day JR Pass.
