Checking itinerary with you - would the seven day pass take us from Kyoto to Osaka to Akita to Tokyo to Narita airport?
Second question - would it take us from Akita to Noshiro shi, or does that require a separate local train ticket?
Third question, within Tokyo, can we ride the Local trains?

Hello Nikki,
1.) Yes, you can do this trip completely with the Japan Rail Pass.
2.) You can visit Noshiro too, using the Japan Rail Pass.
3.) Yes, all local JR lines in Tokyo are included, such as the JR Yamanote loop like and JR Chuo (central) line. There are many more! Travel to Narita Airport is also included, on the Narita Express.
