I’m spending a few days in Tokyo and then want to travel by train to Osaka, Kyoto and Hiroshima in the most logical and cost effective way possible. Which of the various rail passes (if any) are recommended for this round trip and how to I purchase? I am already on my global journey so everything needs to be done online as I have no postal address.
Best itinerary and rail options
Hi there,
It depends on the duration of your journey. The Nationwide JR Pass covers your entire itinerary. If you are travelling to those locations within a 7-day timeframe, a 7-day JR Pass would be perfect.
You will need a physical exchange order voucher sent via mail, and you can have it delivered directly to your next accommodation (such as a hotel or hostel). Simply provide us with the address and your check-in details. You can find out the delivery speed here.
Kind Regards,
Mariko
