I'm doing this itinerary in 28 days, does it make sense to get a JRPass?

March 8th from tokyo to Hakone
March 10th Hakone to Takayama
March 11th Takayama to Shirakawago
March 12th Shirakawago to Kyoto
March 17th Kyoto to Shingu
March 18th Shingu to Yunomine Olsen
March 20th Yunomine Olsen to Koyasan
March 22th Koyasan to Osaka
March 24th Osaka to Fukushama
March 25th Fukushima to Hiroshima
March 26th Hiroshima to Miyahima
March 27th Miyahima to Tokyo
March 29th Tokyo to Anode to Tokyo

I could start my JRPass at the beginning or later and only get a 14 days pass.

Thank you for your help

Hi there,

I would recommend purchasing a 7-day JR Pass for use between the 22nd and the 28th as you’ll be using the Shinkansen an extended amount and so for this portion of your trip it would likely be the most cost-effective option.

Kind regards,

Alexis
