Fuji Kawaguchiko via Nagano niigata east pass

Please note that travel to Kawaguchiko and in general a lot of the Fuji Area is not covered by this pass. The easiest way to get to Kawaguchiko is likely via Shinjuku and the JR Chuo line, which will take you to Otsuki where you can get the Fujikyu Railway line to Kawaguchiko. Once you return to Tokyo things get easier as you can take Hokuriku Shinkansen directly from Tokyo to Nagano and take local transport to Yudanaka Station to get to Yamanouchi.

From Nagano you can get JR Shin'etsu Main Line to Matsumoto, and with the pass you can take a bus trip to Takayama with an additional fare of 4500 YEN for the round trip. From Takayama, there are several routes that can be taken to Kanazawa which can be seen here, but again bear in mind these are not covered by the pass.

To be honest, I really wouldn’t recommend this pass for your itinerary as none of your itinerary is covered except the Hokuriku Shinkansen service between Tokyo and Nagano. My suggestion would be to either look into another regional or national pass, or consider purchasing your tickets individually.
