Is this itinerary okay for using JR pass?

I am planning to fly into Tokyo. Stay at Shinagawa 品川,then take JR to Nagoya名古屋-Gifu 岐阜- Shirakawa 白川鄉-Takayama 高山-Kanazawa金澤-Kyoto京都-Osaka 大阪-Fukuoka 福岡, then will fly from Fukuoka to Okinawa. Or take JR from Fukuoka back to Tokyo. Do you think this route is doable with 14 day JR pass? Do I need to buy extra pass? Thank you for your advice in advance.

Hi there,

Yes, I think this route is very much doable with the right planning. Some trips are pretty long so be sure to check timetables before traveling.

The only part not covered would be the bus to and from Shirakawago.
