Hello JR Team!

This is CarlosJ
I would like to ask for your kind assistance,
we are traveling to Japan this June,
We have been checking about the Regional Passes but we are still uncertain and lost with these.

So I have these questions,
What is better for us? to buy Regional Passes or the National?

Would you be so kind to help us with our trip to Japan please?

Here is our intinerary:

2 26-Jun-26 Osaka Aquarium
3 27-Jun-26 From Osaka to Himeji (Round trip)
4 28-Jun-26 From Osaka to Kinosaki Onsen
5 29-Jun-26 From Kinosaki Onsen to Kyoto
6 30-Jun-26 From Kyoto to Nara (Round trip)
7 01-Jul-26 Honganji, Nanzenji, Kyomizudera
8 02-Jul-26 From Kyoto to Tokyo
9 03-Jul-26 From Tokyo to Kita-Kamakura (Round trip)
10 04-Jul-26 Shibuya, Akihabara, Harajuku

Hi Carlos,

The Nationwide JR Pass covers your itinerary and offers a convenient way to travel around Japan. However, for a more cost-effective option, you could consider using individual tickets and combining them with a Kansai Area Pass for regional travel.

Have a wonderful time in Japan!

Kind Regards,

Mariko
