Hello Daniel-san,
This is our first time travelling to Japan. I have the majority of the hotels along our route for our trip booked. Can I ask your help to figure out whether I should purchase Regional Passes or the JR Pass or just buy tickets per trip for our transport needs. I show the itinerary with dates and time in each location to give you a sense of the amount of time we will spend in each location.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi there,

I checked, but under the new pricing, you would not make savings with a JR Pass on this route, even though you travel a good amount. You can look at a Kansai - Hiroshima Pass for travel to Hiroshima and save some yen that way :)

Looks like a fun trip!
