Hi there in Japan for 12 nights and are looking at the following itinerary

tokyo 3 nights
Hakone - 1 night
Takayama - 2 nights
Hiroshima - 2 nights
Kyoto - 3 nights
Tokyo - 1 night

Please can you check and guide me as to if the above plan is good or you can suggest some changes

Also if we do the above we need to get

Daily Day passes for Tokyo' metro system

Bullet train passes for 2 adults to cover the following

Train to Hakone
from Hakone to Takayama
From Takayama to Hiroshima
From Hiroshima to Kyoto
From Kyoto to Toyko

Day train journey from Kyoto to Nara and then return to Kyoto

Kindly please advise as soon as possible

Hi there,

Your travel plan looks good to me and at this point would not suggest any changes. I think a 14 day JR Pass would help you make the best possible savings.

You can use the JR Pass Fare Calculator to find an approximate ticket cost of a single route or even your full itinerary.
