Hello, hoping you can confirm my itinerary for a 14 or 21 day pass. Start 17 September
Hakata - Hiroshima - Miyajima (return to Hiroshima same day) - Kyoto - Nara ( return to Kyoto same day) - Ogaki - Takayama - Odawara - Kamakura - arrive Tokyo on 29th September - depart Tokyo Narita on the 5th October.
I think all the above is covered using the JR pass. Would the 14 day pass be sufficient and l just buy a separate ticket from TYO to the airport? Or would l get good use of the 21 day pass using the extra days in Tokyo for days which would also include my trip to the airport.
Your advice and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi there,
I think a 14-day Japan Rail Pass would be fine, travel within Tokyo does not cost much compared to intercity travel, and there are plenty of budget options to get to the airport.
The JR Pass covers travel between all the places you plan to visit.
Kind regards,
Daniel
